I just came across an interesting article in Restaurant Wine titled "Jannae Lizza's Wine Training at Passion Fish is Fun & Customized." It seems Ms. Lizza, a new server, refused to follow her fellow servers advice and just sell a few select, well known wines off their restaurant's extensive wine list. Come on, we've all done that. Rather, she took it upon herself to bring the wine list home and research each of the wines on-line. She then generously posted her valuable research in the server station for everyone to use. Wow, fantastic. In fact the only thing that could have made this story better was if Jannae knew about the Waiter Wallet and our wine template. Then she would have been able to keep all that great income producing information right at her finger tips. If you're out there Jannae, give us a call, we'll hook you up:)
